[Tailgate walks in carrying a very large rectangular box that he had slapped a bow on as an afterthought. He sets it on Whirl's bed and points to it proudly.]

Anyway, there's your bribe! Go on and open it!

[And the bribe is: A gun! Tailgate got it on the last station they visited. How did he get it? Oh, that's not an adventure worth telling.]

I'll have you know I am both bribable and flatterable, so I will likely do whatever as long as this present doesn't totally suck.

[Whirl gets up from his work table and immediately pokes the box several times like he's expecting it to explode before opening.

Whirl's big ol optic gets huge, and whatever sound he just made is both awful and a little high pitched. He immediately goes about checking it over, with glee. ]

Anyway, you want to hear some good news? I'm cured! I have no idea how but my spark isn't doing its weird thing anymore! I checked it out with two doctors! Isn't that just the strangest thing?

He's not Drift, they aren't shoved into every crevasse imaginable.

I mean, short of dragging up something as old and decrepit as he is, I'm a little lost for ideas.

Hmm... Cyclonus is, like, suuuper religious. Maybe we can find him a religious artifact of some kind?

That'll take a lot of research and actually finding the thing though.
